Dr. Ramai is also a certified CPR instructor from the American Red Cross.
Dr. Ramai has earned many honors and awards over his career. Most recently, Dr. Ramai was awarded as one of America's Top Dentists for 2009 and again in 2011, as assessed by the Consumers Research Council of America. Finally, he is a Sub-Regional Doctor Clinical Mentor in Virginia.
In addition to being a leader in treating teen orthodontics using Invisalign, we are qualified to treat child orthodontics using a line of Invisalign that specializes for kids from 8 to 11 years old. Extensive research has proved that starting orthodontics in earlier childhood gives us the optimum ability to provide more space for the larger permanent teeth to come in properly in the mouth, avoiding multiple extractions when they are teens to create room for the larger teeth. Furthermore, with the ability to expand the upper and lower jaws in earlier years, we can decrease the chances of kids developing sleep apnea and other sleep disorder breathing problems in the future.
